Hon Timbo Promises To Finish Unfinished Business

Earlier today, at the APC symbol awards election, I ran UNOPPOSED. God willing, I will be returning to Parliament in the forthcoming general elections.

The unflinching belief the people have in me keeps me humble and determined to do what is right. I have never used money or made lofty promises or even use high up influence to canvass support or votes. The love is so undiluted and many times I feel I don’t deserve it. My biggest prayer is that I don’t let you down. That’s the only promise I can give to you. I promise to be your voice, I promise to speak your hearts, I promise to be there for you, I promise to continue to be your humble servant.

Every day, my greatest joy is just sitting and laughing together with you, listening to your problems (many I can’t even solve), hugging you and the kids, sometimes eating with you. Those are priceless moments. I truly and deeply love and care for you, politics aside. With you, I feel no pressure. With you, I don’t feel judged. With you, I don’t feel the pressure being with the high ups. I just so love the chemistry.

For you, I am ready to lay my life. For you, I will not look back despite the many challenges and the urge to quit.

We have unfinished business!!
