Ibrahima K Soumah declared missing

Ibrahima K Soumah a native of Kaffu Bullom chiefdom and of 9 wharf road Conakry-Dee Lungi, Port Loko District, Northern part of Sierra Leone has been missing for the past couple of days now.

Ibrahima got missing after he was declared wanted by the elders of the secret society (poro) in the village after he failed to abide by their decision the position of his late father Pa Kabbasorie Soumah who died on September the 10th 2019 following a sudden illness.

Investigation revealed that after the death of the late village leader of the poro society, Ibrahima was invited to take over the position of his father on the condition that he must sacrifice six cows, six sheeps, six goats, six white fowls, six kolanut and six red cotton during the initiation ceremony.

The source said Ibrahima was invited to the society bush to perform the first part of the ceremony. This message was revealed to him by the poro society members to which his sitting that his faith as a Muslim prevents him from such satanic practices.

On September the 16th 2019, a senior member of the society Abu Yakanu told this medium that a group of the secret society members stormed Ibrahima K Soumah’s house ordering him to follow them to the bush but he refused on the grounds he was not interested and said to them that Surely his prayer, his sacrifice, his life and his death are all for Allah. Lord of all world’s.He has no pattern. That is what he has been commanded and that he is the first one to submit.
His friend Komrabai said when Ibrahima K Soumah refused he was dragged out of the house and seriously manhandled to the point that he became unconscious and obtained fracture on his left wrist, he was taken to the society bush for initiation unfortunately he was able to escape by the help of his colleague Abu Bakarr Mansaray they teach at the same school; Afro International World Bridge Secondary School Kasongha through the bush to a spot where he managed to get a vehicle.
Since that time members of the secret society have been coming regularly in search of Ibrahima K Soumah.
The latest development prompted Ibrahima to escape to an unknown destination. Family members are worried about the whereabouts of their son who they say has been assisting them greatly over the years.
