Ceebah Promises Positive Change

Newly appointed Minister of Information and Civic Education, Chernor Bah (Ceebah), has pledged to serve the nation of Sierra Leone with unwavering commitment. He has been a lecturer at Fourah Bay College in the Department of Institute of Gender Research and Documentation (INGRADOC) for years. Mr Bah is a prominent feminist, activist, and organizer, last week, he was appointed as the Minister of Information and Civic Education by President Bio.

With an impressive track record of implementing programs aimed at uplifting women in the country, Minister Bah brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role. As the co-founder and CEO of Purposeful, he has made significant contributions to empowering women and promoting gender equality in Sierra Leone.

 

Speaking to journalists, Minister Bah acknowledged the weight of his new responsibilities and expressed his gratitude to President Bio for the honour bestowed upon him.

 

Minister Chernor Bah firmly believes that Sierra Leone has the potential to be a thriving nation, and he is determined to continue the journey towards progress.

 

As the Minister of Information and Civic Education, Chernor Bah will play a crucial role in disseminating accurate information to the public, fostering civic engagement, promoting transparency and accountability in Sierra Leone. His appointment has been met with optimism, as many anticipate positive changes under his leadership.
