Kontri Boss Releases “Rebirth” Album
One of Sierra Leone’s talented singer and songwriter, Edward George Wright, professionally known as Kontri Boss, has released his solo album dubbed: “Rebirth.“ The album was released on the 29th of September 2023 during a listening party at the Prestigious Citadal Complex Hillcut Junction Freetown.
The Rebirth album listening party attracted lots of entertainers from all factions of the entertainment industry, including but not limited to Artistes, Djs, Producers, Promoters, and Entertainment Executives, to name but a few. The attendees of the album listening party applauded him for coming up with an album that will stand the test of time in Africa and the rest of the world.
However, the album contains 20 songs that different works of life will resonate with. Kontri Boss of Africa Drums collaborated with “Survival Records” an American based Label, in unleashing the highly anticipated Sierra Leonean album in 2023.
The Rebirth album is now being rated by entertainment pundits as an international album that will showcase Salone music globally.
In a bid to take Sierra Leone Entertainment to a higher level, Kontri Boss decided to work with Orchad Distribution company based in the United States Of America. Orchad is among the biggest distribution companies in the world, after SONY RECORDS and UNIVERSAL STUDIOS. Kontri Boss of African Drums, in collaboration with Survival Records, alongside Orchad Distribution, is showcasing the country’s music worldwide.
Kontri Boss is encouraging all and sundry to be part of his journey, as he happens to be the first Sierra Leonean to work with the above mentioned distribution company.
