Speaking during the meeting after being introduced by the first secretary, Philip Brima Kabba, Mr. Aziz said he is happy engaging the High Commissioner and Staff, informing them about the coming in of officials of the Audit Service that will be coming during the course of the year to have missions edited.

He admonished the team to be in great preparedness while appealing that auditors should not be seen as the police or critic, adding that all they do is look at operations carefully and make meaningful recommendations.

The importance of following recommendations at the end of any audit cannot be overemphasized, Mr. Aziz said while urging the head of mission and her team to ensure everything is put in place correctly as required by the audit team.

He concluded by asking all to work together for the good of our country, Sierra Leone.
