Panic Grips MDAs
The Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Ibrahim Tawa Conteh will on Monday 10th June 2024, commence probing of Ministries Department & Agencies (MDAs).
This probe, according to the Clerk of Parliament will mainly focus on the Auditor General’s Report.
The hearing, the Clerk of Parliament added, will look at how MDAs utilized funds that were allocated to them for the year 2022.
In a bid to ensure public confidence in the process of accountability, Parliament has graciously invited Hon. Members of Parliament, Auditees, representatives from Audit Service Sierra Leone, the Media, Civil Society Organizations and other interested persons to the hearing and has encouraged all invitees to be there on time.
